The World Changes in May

AUTISMONE & GENERATION RESCUE
are proud to announce the most comprehensive
autism conference ever assembled.
Chicago, Illinois: Monday, May 24 - Sunday, May 30
Autism Redefined 2010
We are joining forces with Generation Rescue to present the most comprehensive autism conference ever assembled and we could not be more proud of the upcoming eighth annual event.
A few of the highlights include:
The conference is more than speakers and presentations. It’s a special time when the autism community comes together and shares what we have learned and where we are going. It addresses your concerns and hopes for the future and it happens once a year in Chicago. When the best and brightest doctors, researchers, scientists and educators meet the best and brightest parents and affected children and good things happen. Our children get better.
Together we will redefine autism as a biomedical condition that can be treated and prevented. The past has been unkind to autism. The future is ours. We’ll see you in Chicago.
Overview
This year the conference increases to 7 days. The conference had been five days: Wednesday through Sunday. Wednesdays and Thursdays were mainly devoted to day-long topics. Friday through Sunday comprised the main conference. This is still generally true for 2010.
But over time we found it necessary to add speakers and topics to both the pre- and main-conference days and still too many important topics were not given the attention they deserved.
Monday and Tuesday (May 24 & 25) are new conference days and for 2010 will mostly be devoted to a new initiative called "Student Scholars for Autism" we are developing, art, and some advocacy training.
Moving to a week-long event allows us to be in a position to more easily accommodate the needs we face now and in the future.
We’d like to hear from you. If you’d like to hold a local autism or related meeting on Monday or Tuesday at the Westin O’Hare we would be delighted to provide your group the meeting space. Or if you know of a topic we need to address please share your ideas with us – email ideas@autismone.org.
We reserve the right not to register any individual based on our own judgment. We further reserve the right to ask any participant to leave the conference if that person's conduct substantially interferes with the participation of others. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, creed, religion, gender, political party, or sexual orientation.
