My name is Sara, and I have two autistic boys (moderate and severe). As a former special educational needs teacher, and mother of special needs boys, I brainstormed ways to help them acquire meaningful language.
The result was the creation of www.hiyah.net. I have created over 60 educational software programs, specifically tailored to teach kids what words mean in context.
Every program I designed for my boys, have been put up on my site, free of charge. There is nothing to buy and I do not allow advertising. I am listed with the Doug Flutie Foundation, and Autism One.org amongst others.
